The Telegraph Launches Imposters Podcast Series

Press Release · London England, UK ·

This article is at least a year old

The Telegraph has launched a new podcast series Imposters, which hears from high-profile women about their experiences of feeling inadequate while being at the top of their game.

Telegraph Women’s Editor and Associate Features Editor, Claire Cohen, and guests explore the phenomenon, share techniques they use to help combat Imposter Syndrome, and discuss whether they think it’s something that can be harnessed as a positive driver of success.

The six-part series kicks off with beauty entrepreneur and presenter Trinny Woodall, who discusses how she’s managing to shrink her feelings of Imposter Syndrome as she gets older, and how a personal tragedy inspired her to take a big business risk and launch her eponymous beauty brand, Trinny London.

Other guests include founder of clothing brand Cefinn Samantha Cameron, Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, Clare Smyth the first female British chef to win three Michelin stars, broadcaster June Sarpong OBE, and Holly Ridings, the first female chief flight director at NASA.

Claire Cohen said: “Over the years I’ve heard time and again from successful women, and men, about their own battles with this phenomenon: of feeling inadequate and dealing with self-doubt, despite their obvious achievements - and it’s something I’ve also faced myself. By hearing those at the top of their industries share their personal experiences of Imposter Syndrome, I hope this series will help others struggling with similar feelings at a time when the shape of our working lives has changed beyond recognition."
