ARN's iHeartPodcast Network Australia takes out top spot for 27th consecutive podcast ranker

ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network is Australia’s leading podcast network for the 27th consecutive ranker with an incredible 24 million monthly downloads and a combined total of 5 million listeners for the month of July.
Results from the July Podcast Ranker Report released today also show ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network holds four of the Top 10 most listened to podcasts in the country – more than any other publisher.
Moving into the top 10 for the first time is The Imperfects, which jumped four spots to #7 with 260,898 listeners and over half a million monthly downloads (542,578). Hosted by Hugh van Cuylenburg, founder of The Resilience Project, along with his brother Josh and comedian Ryan Shelton, the mental health podcast showcases the power of vulnerability, and continues to amass a thriving following.
Also in the Top 10 for ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia:
- Casefile (from Audioboom which is part of the iHeartPodcast Network) which remains #1 in Crime and #2 overall, with 809,029 listeners and 2.16 million downloads in July
- The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Australia’s #1 Catch-up podcast and #5 overall with 342,071 monthly listeners and 1.67 million downloads
- Stuff You Should Know, which moved up three spots this month to #6 with 328,664 listeners and a massive 2.8 million downloads – well in front as the most downloaded podcast for the month
Other standouts for the network include:
- Life Uncut with Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne (#13 with 232,614 listeners and 753,575 downloads) despite only two episodes published in July
- No Such Thing as a Fish from Audioboom (#16 with 213,334 listeners and 639,012 downloads)
- She’s On The Money (#23 with 152,014 listeners and 842,974 downloads)
Last month also saw Flex & Froomes make its debut in the Top 100, coming in at #93 with 40,652 listeners and 113,770 downloads.
