Hypecast becomes a Podnews silver supporter

Hypecast, the corporate podcast company, has joined Podnews as a silver supporter. From today, the Hypecast logo appears on the Podnews website that reaches podcast professionals around the world.

Podnews is the daily briefing the podcast industry actually reads - a reference point for news, data, and jobs that people across the business treat as the single source of truth. For Hypecast, backing it is a way to help keep that resource independent and free for the whole industry.

“Podnews is where the podcast world checks in every morning,” said Maximilian Conrad, CEO and co-founder of Hypecast. “It stays useful because people support it, so we wanted to be one of them. That is the first reason we are in.”

The second reason is corporate podcasting itself. Most coverage of the medium still centres on entertainment and independent shows, while the work companies are doing with audio - internal communication, thought leadership, reaching frontline teams - gets far less attention. Hypecast wants to change that.

“Corporate podcasting is one of the fastest-moving corners of the industry, and it is still under-reported,” Conrad added. “Being visible in Podnews every day puts corporate audio in front of the people shaping where podcasting goes next. We want more of that conversation to include how brands and communications teams are using the medium.”
