This article is at least a year old

On the year of its 15th anniversary, Studio Anorak, publishers of Happy Mags for Kids Anorak & DOT, is proud to announce the launch of The Happy Podcast for Kids. Its aim is to tap into children’s natural curiosity, encourage them to ask questions about the world around us and learn and provide a shared experience with those who have the answers.

The Happy Podcast for Kids is led by https://www.littleeditors.com/ who have many questions to ask a global cast of guests on previously-explored Anorak themes such as sea life, imagination, music, sports, cities and of course, ice cream. The guests range from rock stars to ocean scientist, urban designer to ice cream makers, scuba-diver to Olympic Hockey Player.

Launching on Spotify, Acast and Apple and made in collaboration with production company Audio Always, Series One has 6 episodes crammed with over 30 questions, over 20 guests, some jokes and creative prompts to ‘Draw what you hear’. Each episode is ad-free and comes out every 2 weeks starting from June 22nd. It will be promoted on Anorak’s social channels (reach - 200,000 followers) and listeners can support future episodes via a membership scheme via Steady.

Studio Anorak’s Founder, Cathy Olmedillas comments "We are beyond proud to share this new way of enjoying Anorak, now in a sonic format. It gives our readers (and ourselves too!) an opportunity to learn about the world around us in a fun way and for us it is a chance to spread our message of creativity and joy far and wide.”

Anna (Mum of Little Editor Molly, 9 years old) says: “Being part of the Anorak Magazine Little Editors has given Molly so much confidence in her creative writing and has allowed her imagination to run wild. With the podcast, I know she’ll be so proud of what she’s helped to achieve.”
