New York NY, USA—Megaphone, the leader in podcast hosting and advertising technology, announced that GQ magazine has officially launched its signature podcast series, titled Airplane Mode, on Megaphone.

Airplane Mode was started by GQ to provide smarter advice and solutions in an increasingly chaotic world. Each week, host and GQ writer Clay Skipper interviews thoughtful subjects including business geniuses, writers, fashion designers, comedians, pro athletes, artists and more to reveal their secrets to creativity, success, surviving tech, and staying sane. Guests on the podcast include American rapper, A$AP Ferg, author Mark Manson, and director Bing Liu among others.

GQ’s Airplane Mode, along with its Corporate Lunch podcast, will be utilizing all features of Megaphone including opting into Megaphone Targeted Marketplace (MTM) as an additional source of revenue in its larger monetization strategy. The partnership with Megaphone gives GQ the ability to continuously manage, publish, measure and distribute its podcasts with ease.

“GQ’s strength is in creating conversations and telling stories with cultural impact, and we love how Megaphone’s intuitive platform lets us focus our energy on making great podcasts,” says GQ digital director Jon Wilde. "It delivers the data and support that free us up to do what we do best.”

“We’re excited about working with GQ, a highly regarded publication and leading Condé Nast brand,” says Brendan Monaghan, CEO of Megaphone. “We look forward to supporting the success of Airplane Mode and GQ’s growing business moving forward.”

GQ joins other Condé Nast brands, including Vanity Fair and Bon Appétit, on Megaphone.
