The Godcaster App Launches in Public Beta — Adam Curry Announces Live on The Glenn Beck Program

Press Release · Dallas, TX, USA ·

Godcaster.fm today announced the public beta release of its highly anticipated new app, The Godcaster. The announcement was made nationally by Adam Curry, co-founder of podcasting and partner in Godcaster, during a special appearance on The Glenn Beck Program.

The Godcaster app combines the timeless simplicity of radio with the freedom and power of modern on-demand listening. Listeners can follow their favorite stations, ministries, and programs, stream live and on-demand, and access exclusive content — all in one unified, censorship-free app.

“We believe it’s time to put the power back in the hands of listeners and ministries,” said Curry. “Godcaster is built on the open Podcasting 2.0 standards, ensuring direct connection, real engagement, and no algorithms or third parties deciding what you experience. This is a game-changer for anyone who wants to stay connected to faith-based audio content.”

The public beta offers early adopters the opportunity to experience The Godcaster app and provide feedback ahead of the full launch later this year. Listeners will enjoy live streaming, curated stations, program following, exclusive in-app content, and first-of-its-kind attribution tools that allow ministries to see and serve their audiences more directly.

At the heart of the development effort is Paul Bailey, Senior Developer and technical lead for the project. Bailey has played a central role in shaping the app from concept to execution, bringing deep experience, creative engineering, and steadfast commitment to the platform’s mission. His leadership has been instrumental in delivering a fast, reliable, and ministry-first listening experience that’s ready for the future of faith-based broadcasting.

The platform is a partnership between Adam Curry, Dave Jones, and Gordon Marcy — a powerhouse team combining decades of experience in broadcasting, technology, and digital media innovation. Dave Jones, co-founder of Podcasting 2.0, has been pivotal in advancing the open podcast ecosystem and brings his deep technical expertise to the Godcaster mission.

“This is Christian radio reimagined for the digital age,” said Marcy, managing partner of Godcaster.fm. “We’re restoring the simplicity and joy of discovery — from beloved national voices to local station and church streams — while giving ministries a direct connection to their audience like never before.”

The Godcaster app is available now for download on iOS and Android in public beta and at www.godcaster.fm.

The app is free for all Godcasters. If you’re a radio station or church and would like to be included, visit our website to get in touch — we’d love to partner with you.
