Girls Gotta Eat joins the Dear Media podcast network
Dear Media, the multi-platform media company with a mission to amplify women’s voices and narratives, announced today that Ashley Hesseltine and Rayna Greenberg’s hit comedy podcast Girls Gotta Eat has joined the Dear Media podcast network. New episodes will premiere twice a week, Monday and Thursday, featuring the comedic duo and real-life best friends discussing everything from dating, sex, and relationships as well as celebrity and expert guests. The deal was brokered by WME on behalf of Girls Gotta Eat.
“We are thrilled to welcome Girls Gotta Eat to the Dear Media family,” said Paige Port, President of Dear Media. “We became aware of the show very early on and are excited to finally bring this partnership to life and continue to grow together. Ashley and Rayna have built an immensely popular podcast and have rapidly expanded their brand into an entrepreneurial empire. We believe their show, drive for brand expansion and loyal, engaged following will fit perfectly into the Dear Media ecosystem.”
“We are so excited to get into a long-term relationship with Dear Media! They have been an innovator in the podcasting space for women and will give us the space and support to continue the conversation about dating, sex, and relationships in the same empowering and comedic way our “snackheads” have grown to love,” said co-hosts Ashley Hesseltine and Rayna Greenberg in a joint quote. “They say you glow when you get into a new relationship, and we are glowing up with a new look and TWO episodes a week! We’re excited to give our listeners more laughs, tea, and hot takes.”
Since the launch of the podcast in 2018, Girls Gotta Eat has had the goal of candidly discussing any and all dating-related topics from sexual fetishes to finances with guests including therapists, comedians, authors and more. The brand has quickly solidified its position in the international podcast market, rapidly expanding into an entertaining and interactive live show, “No Crumbs,” that tours globally, selling out over 200 theaters to date. In 2022, Hesseltine and Greenberg pivoted further into the entrepreneurial space founding their now multi-million dollar product and tech company, Vibes Only, which sells bluetooth-connected vibrators that pair to an innovative app.
Other shows to have recently joined the Dear Media podcast network include Tay & Taylor Lautner’s hit mental wellness podcast The Squeeze as well as Stassi Schroeder Clark’s weekly lifestyle podcast Stassi. Since launching in 2018, Dear Media has rapidly grown to encompass 80+ shows including Pretty Basic with Alisha Marie and Remi Cruz, Not Skinny But Not Fat with Amanda Hirsch, The Toast with Jackie & Claudia Oshry, and SheMD with Dr Thaïs Aliabadi and Mary Alice Haney.
