PodX Group launches Filt Nordics to consolidate market position in the Nordics

PodX Group-backed podcast studio Filt has announced a strategic reorganization to secure its future growth and reinforce its position as the leading podcast producer in the Nordics. Central to this initiative is the launch of Filt Nordics, which aims to leverage synergies across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.

For the first time since its founding in 2002, Filt Sweden announces a leadership change. Jenny Nordlander, who has served as Editor-in-Chief for the past three years, takes on the role as CEO of Filt Sweden starting this January. Meanwhile, former CEO and co-founder Anders Elfström has been appointed CEO of Filt Nordics, while co-founders Erik Roll and Roger Dackegård will join the Nordic management team as executive producers. Additionally, PodX Group’s Finnish podcast studio Suomen Podcastmedia will officially integrate into Filt Nordics as its Finnish branch, retaining its established brand identity in the Finnish market under the leadership of Moona Kärkkäinen as the new CEO.

This new organizational setup is designed to enhance collaboration and maximize opportunities across Nordic markets that share similar conditions, platforms, and listening behaviors, making this unified approach a natural step for addressing regional challenges and exploring growth opportunities - not only within its own operations but also in synergy with other PodX Group companies, such as the Stockholm-based Perfect Day Media.
