Familicide Launches Today on the fwd. network

Press Release · New York, NY, USA ·

AdLarge, a leader in the podcast advertising space, is thrilled to announce the addition of Familicide to the fwd. network. Familicide pays tribute to the victims of the most harrowing and tragic crimes—those committed within families. Each episode approaches these deeply shocking stories with utmost care and empathy, ensuring the focus remains on honoring the lives lost and raising awareness about these devastating events.

Hosted by Amy B. Chesler, a survivor and co-victim of family murder, and produced and co-hosted by Sam Mettler, the creator of A&E’s Intervention, the podcast recounts stories of fatal family violence, terror, and tragedy through interviews with survivors and the family members left behind.

Each episode includes compelling conversations with police chiefs, detectives, district attorneys, legal teams, and psychological experts, painting a three-dimensional picture of today’s most heinous crimes. Familicide delves into the terrifying and vile nature of these crimes—murder within a family—shedding light on important stories in a way that is both compelling and respectful. The podcast offers listeners a unique perspective on the tragic dynamics that unfold in such cases.

“I’m incredibly excited to join the fwd. network and share these harrowing stories with the world,” said Sam Mettler. “Our mission is to honor the victims and empower listeners by providing an understanding of these devastating events and their ripple effects.”

“September 25th, 2007, was America’s inaugural National Murder Victim Remembrance Day… on that same exact day, my brother brutally murdered our mother. Since then, I’ve made it my mission to share my trauma, provide support, and bring awareness to prevent similar terror,” added Amy B. Chesler. “Featuring impactful and meaningful stories like those on Familicide, speak to the heart of the fwd network’s mission,” said Cathy Csukas, CEO of AdLarge and the fwd. network. “Amy and Sam’s dedication to honoring victims and helping survivors is nothing short of valiant, and we are proud to support them in bringing these powerful stories to a larger audience.”

Episodes will be available weekly on Spotify, Apple, and all major podcast platforms. With a higher mission to support survivors and educate audiences about the potential dangers that may lurk within their own homes and neighborhoods, the Familicide podcast seeks to address disturbing yet critical questions such as, “Is my child troubled? Is my dad okay? Is someone in my family a potential danger?”
