The Factory London Studios open in East London with creator-first approach
Following its official launch at The Podcast Show in May, The Factory London Studios has opened its doors to creators, brands, and agencies looking for professional, flexible, and creator-first production space in East London.
Located directly opposite Plaistow Tube Station (District and Hammersmith & City lines) and just a mile from the Olympic Park in Stratford, The Factory London Studios has already signed production partnership deals across a diverse mix of content genres — from football and comedy to wrestling, psychology, and mental health.
Built on the site of a former clothing factory opened by founder Stuart Bluman’s grandfather in 1964, the studios sit within a building that’s been in the same family for three generations. After converting the space into a coworking hub with private offices in 2023, Stuart added a new floor dedicated to content creation earlier this year.
“This space has real history,” said Stuart Bluman, Founder of The Factory London. “My grandfather built it from a disused WW2 bomb crater. We’ve kept that same energy — just swapped the sewing machines for cameras and microphones.”
Studio Features:
- Two podcast/video studios now open — with two more launching before the end of the year
- Shure microphone partnership, acoustics by Sound Zero, lighting by Bailes & Light
- Multicam video setup: 3 Canon C70s, ATEM Mini Extreme ISO, Rodecaster Pro II
- Studios fitted out by CVP, with full control room, video switching, and pro lighting
- Flexible rates from £110 per hour, with monthly memberships available
- End-to-end production services: recording, editing, social repurposing, marketing
The Factory London was designed with flexibility and creator support in mind, offering the tools and space needed to go from idea to episode without friction.
“I speak to so many creators who’ve been sitting on a great idea but don’t know where to start. We built this place so they don’t have to figure it all out alone,” said Bluman.
“We’re not just renting you a studio — we’ll help you launch, scale, and actually get heard.”
As part of its wider mission, The Factory London is also exploring partnerships with educators, coaches, and industry mentors to offer access and training to people who might not otherwise get the opportunity to create.
“There’s a whole generation of talent that just needs the right room and the right energy. That’s what we’ve built here — a place where ideas get made properly,” said Bluman. “Whether you’re an influencer, a brand, or someone who’s just got something to say — we’ve got you.”
The studios are now accepting bookings at thefactorylondon.com with flexible pricing, creative support, and bulk session deals for creators and agencies.
