Interactive podcasting app, Entale, launches out of beta, with new shows including I’m Absolutely Fine by the Midult

Entale is pleased to announce that the latest version of its iOS app is this week released out of beta, and that this release coincides with the first episode of the latest show created for its podcast platform, “I’m Absolutely Fine”, by The Midult.
Entale Media is on a mission to redefine how podcasts and spoken word audio are created and consumed. Coming 6 months after its beta launch, this week’s first full release of its iOS app makes the podcasting experience more interactive, by adding interactive and engaging content including images, links, maps and shoppable embeds into the audio experience.
The app also tackles some of the problems surrounding podcast discovery by dividing shows into ‘snackable’ chapters, so listeners can sample part of a show before deciding to subscribe or share.
The Midult, a media platform re-defining what it means to be middle aged, was set up by journalists Annabel Rivkin and Emilie McMeekan. The podcast will accompany their latest book, “I’m Absolutely Fine”, published by Octopus Books, a division of Hachette, and will see them interview guests such as Anya Hindmarch and Martha Lane Fox about their experiences of becoming a midult.
The podcast is sponsored by Marks & Spencer, and there are make-up and beauty tips running throughout, relating to products which can be easily purchased via the Entale experience.
