Shalom! Deezer Introduces Podcasts to Israel
This article is at least a year old
Paris, France—Put on your headphones or turn up your speakers! Deezer is making podcasts available for everyone in Israel. Fans who rely on our personalized music app to play their favorite local and global tunes now have a new reason to keep streaming. Deezer users in Israel can now access our podcast tab, “Shows.” Similar to our music offering, Israelis can listen to both local and international podcasts. So go and give “Hayot Kis” and “Osim Historia” a try!
Fans will be able to discover both recommended and top podcasts in our app. They’ll be able to go through 13 categories ranging from news and politics, business, kids podcasts, sports, education and more. Users can also listen to Deezer Originals, podcasts created exclusively for Deezer.
“I regularly binge on podcasts in the evenings. I wish I could understand Hebrew, as I’d love to enjoy some of the local podcasts that we offer in Israel. Just don’t blame me when you get addicted and can’t stop playing. And we’ll continue adding new podcasts going forward to make sure you will always find something fresh to listen to,” said Alexander Holland, Chief Content and Strategy Officer, Deezer.
Deezer’s “Shows” tab is available on mobile and desktop devices and is updated regularly.
