Today, global leader in meditation and mindfulness, Headspace, launches its new call-in podcast show, Dear Headspace - a first of its kind for the industry - giving people the opportunity to ask questions about life, love, and anything else that keeps them up at night, to Headspace’s expert meditation teachers.

Headspace becomes the first app within the mindfulness and wellbeing space to create a two-way dialogue between its teachers and members, furthering its mission around destigmatising the conversation around mental health. The new show was conceptualised based on a key insight: Headspace has received over 15,000 requests over the past 3 years with advice questions around meditation or life in general, showing just how needed this podcast is.

In each weekly episode, a Headspace meditation teacher joins podcast host, Robin Hopkins, who is beginning her meditation and mindfulness journey, to answer members’ questions submitted via voicemail, and give advice on their common dilemmas - anything ranging from relationships, grief, family, and starting their meditation journey. The Headspace teachers use their expertise to teach people how to use mindfulness to tackle life problems with practical solutions.

“We’re excited to launch our new podcast show, ‘Dear Headspace’, which we developed after recognising a real need to create powerful channels of connection with our members and meditation teachers. Through our member research and the daily requests our teachers receive, we know that our members are seeking real advice and guidance to help them navigate common life challenges. ‘Dear Headspace’ provides exactly that,” says Louise Troen, VP and Content and Studios Marketing at Headspace. “We’re pleased to use this launch to spotlight our new in-app podcast capability, which brings some of our listeners’ favourite content into the app for a more seamless product experience.”
