Dane Cardiel Named VP, Business Development, Headgum/Gumball


We are excited to announce the hire of Dane Cardiel as our new Vice President of Business Development. Dane will be based in our New York office and will lead our Podcast Acquisition Team to recruit independent podcasters and podcast networks onto our premium host-read marketplace, Gumball. Dane joins Headgum from Simplecast where he served as Director of Business Development for nearly five years as a founding member.

Plus we’ve more than doubled the number of shows on the platform, working with notable podcasts such as Yo, Is This Racist?, The Pat Mayo Experience, and Sidenote by AsapSCIENCE alongside brands like BetterHelp, StockX, Helix Sleep, and Magic Spoon.
