Drag Her! A RuPaul's Drag Race Podcast leaves Headgum for Good Get
The Internet’s ONLY Drag Race podcast Drag Her! has joined Good Get Productions’ growing podcast slate.
Comedians Mano Agapion and Oscar Montoya have struck a production and distribution deal with Good Get Productions for Drag Her! A RuPaul’s Drag Race Podcast. On the show, Agapion and Montoya recap episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race, discuss queer pop culture, and chat with Drag Race contestants and comedian superfans.
Drag Her! was previously part of the Headgum podcast network, which launched a version of the show in collaboration with Vulture in 2018, hosted by Nicole Byer and Joel Kim Booster.
Agapion joined as co-host in 2019 alongside Matt Rogers, then Byer, before hosting the show solo. Montoya officially joined as co-host in 2025. Over the years, guests have included former contestants like BenDeLaCreme and Peppermint as well as comedians like Dylan Akira Adler, Betsy Sodaro, and Rachel Bloom.
“We’re so excited to continue and expand our coverage of the Drag Race universe and all things overtly gay,” said Agapion and Montoya. “So pumped that Good Get is as thirsty as we are for content that serves the girls, gays, and theys.”
With Good Get, Agapion and Montoya will be expanding their programming to include video episodes, exclusive Patreon content, and coverage of drag and queer culture beyond the RuPaul’s Drag Race universe.
From Good Get: “Mano and Oscar are the definition of good gets: they are not only hilarious and expertly knowledgeable about all things Drag Race but also dedicated hosts who have spent years cultivating a community of listeners. We’re thrilled to partner with them for this next chapter of the show.”
Drag Her! will join other Good Get podcasts like the Signal Award-winning improv comedy series One of Us with Fin and Chris, hosted by Fin Argus and Chris Renfro (The Other Two, Queer As Folk, Oh, Mary!) and the Apple New & Noteworthy selection Worse Than You with Mo Fry Pasic, where every week, Mo speaks with a different comedian about their creative process. Worse Than You is a collaboration with Lauren Mandel’s Disco Nap Productions.
Through Good Get, co-founders Erica Getto and Myrriah Gossett are working with a group of emerging, primarily LGBTQIA+ comedians, writers, and entertainers on a slate of shows that center community in one way or another. Their collaborators include Ilia Isorelýs Paulino (Sex Lives of College Girls, One Piece), Brett Maline (Loki), Kelli Dunham (The Turning: The Sisters Who Left), and Very Gay Paint’s Nic Scheppard and Jenson Titus.
