Award-Winning True-Crime Podcast Criminal Brings All-New Live Show, “Don’t Worry,” to 13 Cities Across North America

It was announced today that Criminal, the chart-topping true-crime podcast with tens of millions of annual downloads, will embark on a 13-city tour of North America with an all-new live show titled, “Don’t Worry.” The tour officially kicks off on November 17 in Chicago, IL. Tickets go on-sale for Criminal Plus members today, September 21, and will open up to the general public on September 24 at 10 am Eastern.

In this new show, Criminal creator Phoebe Judge tells the story of growing up in an eccentric family in Chicago, where, from the age of eight, she began discovering (and keeping) family secrets. The premise of Criminal has always been to tell stories about people who’ve done wrong, been wronged, or gotten caught somewhere in the middle. In this intimate, darkly funny, and unexpected live show, Judge will tell those never-before-heard stories about herself and the people she loves. These are the stories that have shaped her, and the inspiration for how Criminal came to be in the first place.

“I’ve spent most of my life interviewing people about incredibly difficult moments in their lives,” said Judge. “I won’t pretend to know much, but I do know that none of us do the right thing all of the time. Me and my own family included. This is a show about not giving up on people.” 

Launched in 2014 by Phoebe Judge and Lauren Spohrer, and now part of Vox Media, Criminal has been an enduring brand and a defining voice in true crime through rigorous reporting, uncompromising editorial standards, and meticulously crafted storytelling. After more than twelve years, it remains one of the medium’s most respected shows.
