Crime House accelerates video strategy this Spring
Crime House, PAVE Studios’ true crime brand, today announced a video expansion across three original series coming this spring. The studio is launching a new video-first series — America’s Most Infamous Crimes — and introducing weekly video episodes to two existing audio franchises — Murder True Crime Stories and Conspiracy Theories, Cults & Crimes.
“When we launched PAVE Studios, the goal was always to be a media company that brought premium creator-led content to fans across every platform. While we have seen great success with audio, our belief that ‘podcasts’ would evolve into a multi-format entertainment category has been validated as the biggest platforms are now making real investments in video infrastructure and monetization,” said PAVE Founder and CEO Max Cutler.
“Every Crime House franchise is developed to work seamlessly across video, audio, and social,” he continued. “We’ve built the production infrastructure, editorial rigor, and platform strategy to scale high-quality franchises while letting creators focus on storytelling. The biggest proof point is how our slate is expanding. The audience demand is there, platforms are prioritizing video, and we’re building in response to both."
AMERICA’S MOST INFAMOUS CRIMES
America’s Most Infamous Crimes is a new original video and audio series hosted by Katie Ring, available on YouTube @americasmostinfamouscrimes and audio across all major podcast platforms starting March 24. Each week, Katie takes you inside one of the most notorious criminal cases in American history, examining not just what happened but how these crimes changed the country forever. Told across three episodes every Tuesday through Thursday, the series launches with Ted Bundy, followed by the Idaho Murders, the murder of Gabby Petito, O.J. Simpson, and Jeffrey Dahmer.
With over 1.2 million followers and 52 million likes across social platforms, Katie Ring is one of the fastest-rising voices in true crime. A self-defense instructor and advocate for victims whose Karen Read trial coverage went viral, Katie brings a perspective to these cases that goes beyond the investigation and into the lasting impact on American law, justice, and culture.
“These cases didn’t just make headlines. They changed laws, shifted investigations, and left patterns that still show up today,” said Katie Ring. “Most people know the story they were told. America’s Most Infamous Crimes is about everything they weren’t told, and the lessons we can still learn from them.”
MURDER TRUE CRIME STORIES
Having reached tens of millions of unique listeners since launching, Murder True Crime Stories is introducing a weekly video episode every Friday on YouTube @murdertruecrimestories beginning March 27. The series explores history’s most notorious murders, going beyond the crime scene to uncover the real story and focus on the people impacted the most. Host Carter Roy is an established voice in true crime, best known for the long-running Parcast series Conspiracy Theories, which debuted as a video podcast on Netflix this year.
CONSPIRACY THEORIES, CULTS & CRIMES
Beginning April 4, Conspiracy Theories, Cults & Crimes is launching a weekly video episode every Saturday on YouTube @conspiracytheoriescultsandcrimes. From UFO cults to secret CIA experiments, host VanessaRichardson unpacks shocking true crime cases that blur the line between fact and fiction and leave you questioning everything. Vanessa is a veteran true crime creator who hosts three Crime House original franchises and is the original host of Parcast’s Serial Killers.
“True crime thrives on intimacy. It feels like sitting across from someone walking you through a case,” said Vanessa Richardson. “Listeners spend hours with hosts every week. That builds a level of trust and connection traditional media can’t match. Video doesn’t change that relationship. It only deepens it.”
These three join Crime House’s growing slate of video-first originals including Clues with Morgan Absher and Kaelyn Moore, Crimes Of… with Sabrina Deana-Roga and Corinne Vien, and Twisted Tales with Heidi Wong.
Since launching a little over a year ago, Crime House has launched 10 original series reaching millions of listeners and viewers each month, backed by a roster of creators with 50M+ combined followers including Morgan Absher, Kaelyn Moore, Heidi Wong, Sarah Turney, Dr. Tristin Engels, and Kourtney Nichole.
