Clubby Sports secures sales representation of popular cricket podcast All Over Bar The Cricket

Australian sports media and podcasting network Clubby Sports is gearing up for a bumper summer, securing the advertising sales rights to All Over Bar The Cricket, featuring Australian cricket heavyweights.

The partnership sees Clubby Sports entrusted with taking the popular podcast to market, connecting brands looking to be part of the summer sporting conversation with one of cricket’s most entertaining and reputable line-ups.

And Clubby isn’t stopping there, with a new podcast Keeping Up With Sam Harper launching in mid-November, alongside the return of social-first series Chasing Tayls with Will Taylor and 200 PLUS entering its Summer Series.

Cricket Heavyweights Lead the Charge

Launched in mid-2025, All Over Bar The Cricket has quickly established itself as a must-listen for cricket fans, delivering bold opinions, big laughs and the stories you won’t hear in the commentary box.

Published weekly throughout summer and fortnightly in off-season, the show is cricket talk the Aussie way. Unfiltered, unapologetic and straight from the sheds. There’s nothing orthodox about it.

The podcast has already built a highly engaged audience across audio and social media, presenting a compelling opportunity for brands looking to reach passionate sports fans.

Zach Kangelaris, Co-founder and Partnerships Director at Clubby Sports, said the partnership was a major signing for the network.

"All Over Bar the Cricket is the headline act of our summer content offering, and we’re excited to be bringing it to market. With James Brayshaw, Matthew Hayden and Greg Blewett behind the mic, it’s A-grade talent with genuine cricket credibility,” Kangelaris said.

"The team has already built a significant and highly engaged Australian audience, averaging 200k viewers/listeners and 3.1 million views per month on social media in its first season.

“For brands wanting to own the Australian summer, this is a great opportunity to connect with cricket fans through voices they already know and trust.”

James Brayshaw, host of All Over Bar the Cricket and Co-founder of Best Life Media, owner and publisher of the podcast, said:

“All Over Bar the Cricket is a really cool mixture of strong opinions, great stories and long-standing mates who really enjoy each other’s company, all based around the great game of cricket. It makes enormous sense for Clubby Sports to represent the podcast.”

A Summer Line-Up With Plenty in the Tank

Clubby Sports is also preparing to launch a brand new podcast, Keeping Up With Sam Harper, in mid-November. The Melbourne Star and Victorian wicket-keeper/batsman has been in stellar form, earning his first call up to the Australian Test Squad in South Africa.

“I’m passionate about media and it’s a career I would like to pursue once I finish playing, so I’m always looking for ways to build my skills. I’ve done some podcasting in the past but I’m excited to have my own show,” Harpers said.

“We’re going to start small with six episodes in season one but I can guarantee they will be interesting guests with amazing stories to tell. The show is about cricketers, but it’s not just about cricket.”

Meanwhile, social-first cricket series Chasing Tayls will see popular sports creator Will Taylor put athletes and big-name guests to the test in a unique six-ball challenge.

With 16 runs needed for victory, guests face Will’s left-arm seam bowling while Sam Harper takes on umpiring duties, ensuring there’s no shortage of questionable decisions, competitive banter and laughs along the way.

And for sports fans who like a bit of everything, 200 PLUS is jumping straight into its Summer Series, with host and journalist Nick Butler joined by a rotating chair of experts covering cricket, racing, basketball, tennis and more, with a sprinkling of AFL of course.

The summer series will feature five cricket-focused episodes, with special guests joining Butler to preview the ODI series against England and the four-Test series against New Zealand.

Together, the expanded content slate reinforces Clubby Sports’ growing position in Australia’s sports media landscape, offering brands opportunities to connect with audiences through podcasts, video, social media and talent-led content partnerships.
