
Industry Veteran Chris O'Keeffe Joins Modaxo Media Group to Expand Podcast Offerings and Drive Podcast Innovation
Modaxo Media Group, the media and content division of global transit technology leader Modaxo, announced the appointment of Chris O’Keeffe as Media Manager - Podcast & Content. O’Keeffe, an award-winning executive producer and podcast creator, will lead efforts to enhance Modaxo Media Group’s current podcast portfolio and drive innovative storytelling initiatives.
Modaxo Media Group is home to the transit industry’s number one podcast, Transit Unplugged, hosted by Paul Comfort, reaching transit executives and industry professionals worldwide.

O’Keeffe brings a distinguished track record to Modaxo Media Group, having developed and produced podcasts for high-profile organizations such as MIT, British Columbia Institute of Technology, Amazon, Cirque du Soleil, and Russell Reynolds Associates. His work has been recognized with numerous industry honors, including awards from the Webby Awards, iHeart Podcast Awards, Discover Pods, AVA Digital Awards, CMI, the Platinum Hermes Award, and the Bronze Signal Award for Writing. He is also the co-creator of cult favorite audio drama Jupiter Saloon and the co-founder of Podcation, an innovative audio hackathon event for professional creators. Currently, O’Keeffe serves as a fellow and teaching assistant for Stony Brook University’s prestigious Podcasting Incubator program. Previously, he developed and wrote for Disgraceland, which achieved recognition as the #1 music podcast worldwide.
