The British Podcast Awards 2025’s Listeners’ Choice Award is now open for public voting
Voting is now open for The Listeners’ Choice category at the British Podcast Awards 2025.
The only award decided by the public, The Listeners’ Choice spotlights podcasts that have grown wide-reaching, loyal audiences. It’s open to any podcast regardless of whether they’ve submitted entries for any other categories.
In 2024, Help I Sexted My Boss with William Hanson and Jordan North clinched the prize after thousands of fans voted for their favourite podcast. From 2021 to 2023, Suruthi Bala and Hannah Maguire’s true crime hit RedHanded took home the title for three consecutive years.
Podcasters are encouraged to rally their audiences to the voting page to claim the top spot. To qualify, the podcast must have been available and listed in Apple Podcast’s directory since 1 June 2025. It must also be UK-based or aimed at a primarily UK audience. Voting closes on 8 September 2025.
The BPAs have created a series of assets to help promote voting on their social channels. These are available on their website.
The winners of the Listeners’ Choice Award will be revealed alongside the rest of the winners as part of the ceremony on 2 October at indigo at The O2.
Entries for the rest of the award categories closed on 29 May. Thousands of podcasters will be trying to scoop awards including Podcast Of The Year, Entertainment, Business, Fiction and New Podcast, plus new categories Impact, Education, Health & Wellbeing, Lifestyle and Video Innovation.
Tickets for the ceremony are now available on the British Podcast Awards website.
