Brian Blessed collaborates with Union Jack Radio to launch his first-ever podcast series

Union JACK radio announces an off-the-wall collaboration with the widely revered actor, Brian Blessed OBE, resulting in one of the most exciting and highly-anticipated podcasts to come from the comedic radio outlet – and the very first podcast in Blessed’s own portfolio.

Brian Blessed’s Bedtime Stories will feature Blessed, globally-renowned for his hearty, booming voice, regaling listeners with his own take on some of the world’s greatest bedtime stories. From Peter Rabbit to Paddington Bear, Brian will get listeners ready for bed with a ‘calming’ and often completely off-the-rails reading of some of the world’s most famous fairytales and children’s stories.

Suitable for children and adults alike, the podcast launches on Wednesday 9 September, with a new story released each week for a series of 12 weeks. Listen on-demand through the Union JACK radio app, online at unionjack.co.uk, or via major podcast channels including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Brian Blessed joins a raft of talent who have joined forces with the much-loved independent radio station Union JACK, which celebrates the best of British music and comedy via a range of clever programming initiatives and unique listening experiences.
