A podcast born in a pandemic: Kumi Taguchi and Michelle Stephenson release The Best Podcast Ever
This article is at least a year old
Switched on topical banter meets love in lockdown as Kumi Taguchi and Michelle Stephenson bring you The Best Podcast Ever launching on Wednesday 1 September.
As lockdowns and restrictions have forced us all to find new ways to make connections, journalist/storytellers Kumi Taguchi and Michelle Stephenson are taking this to the next step right before your ears on a podcast born in a pandemic.
They’ll look at the blurred lines of a subject, the nexus between the left and right, the right and wrong while also digging deep into what got passed through parliament 'while you were sleeping’.
After innocently following each other on twitter and sneaking into each other’s DM’s, Taguchi and Stephenson have decided to get to know one another on their weekly podcast while chatting politics, social media, books and music.
This won’t be without a romance factor- Kumi and Michelle haven’t stalked each other on social media nor been in the same room together. The Best Podcast Ever will be like a dinner reservation, where the girls meet each week to get know each other and ultimately see whether they like each other enough to meet again next week.
With both hosts bringing 20 years of media experience each to the table, this love affair is set to be an informative and exhilarating ride as two worlds of commercial radio and broadcast TV collide.
The Best Podcast Ever is the latest addition to DM Podcasts and the NOVA Entertainment Podcast Network (NEPN) which brings together the largest stable of accessible talent in the country, including much-loved identities, influencers and experts, to create a suite of quality podcast content that connects audiences and brands.
The Best Podcast Ever launches every Wednesday from 1 September and is available wherever you access your podcasts.
