New York NY, USA—Barneys New York today announced its third season of The Barneys Podcast, with new host Noor Tagouri. With her unique perspective as an award-winning journalist reporting on issues like human trafficking, Tagouri brings The Barneys Podcast into its third season with heartfelt conversations that challenge convention and celebrate the leaders who dare to use their voice differently – while doing it all in style.
Each week, Noor has deep dive conversations with some of today’s most interesting personalities, in which fashion becomes a conduit to enlightening dialogue around identity, politics and culture. Noor brings her experience as a journalist and the host of her own award-winning podcast, Sold in America, investigated the human trafficking. The eight-episode season will premiere on June 26, and air weekly on Wednesdays.
“I’m thrilled to be getting back in the podcast booth and taking over season three of the Barneys Podcast,” said Noor Tagouri. “In my reporting, I’ve found that finding roots of commonality, building bridges, and listening with intent opens up worlds of possibilities. That’s what this season of the Barneys Podcast is all about – building bridges, pushing boundaries, and celebrating leaders on the forefront of pushing culture forward.”
Season three of The Barneys Podcast launches with a conversation with Queer Eye’s Tan France, who discusses making his own clothes at a young age, coming out to his family, today’s mental health challenges, and his new Netflix project. Other guests include journalist and Project Runway judge Elaine Welteroth, designer Dapper Dan, the duo behind Diet Prada, model and activist Jillian Mercado, and more to be announced.
This season of The Barneys Podcast builds on the show’s successful early seasons which featured guests including Martha Stewart, podcaster and comedian Phoebe Robinson, musician Kelly Rowland, designers Victoria Beckham, Alexander Wang, Thom Browne, and Rick Owens, actress Sophia Bush, chef Samin Nosrat, celebrity hair stylist Sally Hershberger, and athlete Iman Shumpert, among others.
