Winners of the Asia Podcast Awards Announced
This article is at least a year old
Celebrating podcasts made in Asia, winners in the inaugural Asia Podcast Awards were announced earlier this month.
The Asia Podcast Awards are designed to grow Asia’s rising podcast industry through greater awareness, collaboration and recognition of podcasters here. These award winners are at the forefront of podcasts created in Asia, showcasing available talent as well as a diverse range of voices as seen only in the region.
The Awards were announced at the Asia Podcast Summit Live Event, led by MeaVox Live at Google Singapore earlier this month. Nations that participated ranged from all across Asia: from Singapore to Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, South Korea, India, and many more.
More than 100 entries were submitted to the awards for consideration in categories including Best Business Podcast, Best Education Podcast, Best Entertainment Podcast, Best Technology Podcast, and Asia’s Best Podcast. Nominations went through an extensive judging process, bringing finalists down to 3 per category, and 6 for Asia’s Best Podcast.
