AnalyticOwl, the Leading Broadcast Attribution Service Provider, Launches Attribution Product for Podcasts

New York NY, USA—AnalyticOwl, the leading provider of attribution services to the broadcast industry, today unveiled PodcastOwl, a new attribution product targeting the rapidly expanding podcast industry. PodcastOwl measures the impact of advertising in podcasts and offers tools to optimize such campaigns.

The podcast market has grown dramatically in recent years with Edison Research estimating approximately 90 million podcast listeners in 2019, up from 42 million in 2014. Similarly, the IAB expects Podcast Ad Revenue to reach $885 million in 2019, up from approximately $89 million in 2014, and expected to reach $1.6 billion by 2022. However, despite this growth in both listenership and advertising, it is still challenging for publishers to provide real measurement and insights to their advertiser partners. PodcastOwl has been created to solve this problem by focusing on aggregate data before and after the launch of a podcast providing a large sample size of data in which to find attribution insights when matched with other web, search and foot traffic datasets.

PodcastOwl is available within the AnalyticOwl dashboard and is presented alongside the metrics AnalyticOwl’s media partners have come to rely on. Importantly, however, publishers can now proactively show actionable insights to an advertiser without access to such advertiser’s underlying Google Analytics.
