Airwave Launches In-House Advertising Sales Operation Representing More Than 120 Million Monthly Views and Downloads
Airwave, the premium podcast and video network for the constantly curious, announced that it is launching an in-house advertising sales operation that will assume full responsibility for the network’s sales beginning in 2027.
The move marks the next stage of Airwave’s growth and creates a more direct connection among the network’s creators, advertising partners, and sales team. The expanded in-house operation gives agencies and brands one point of access to opportunities spanning host-read podcast advertising, digital video, YouTube, live programming, custom integrations, and broader multi-platform partnerships.
Airwave’s expanding portfolio represents more than 120 million combined monthly video views and podcast downloads. New opportunities available through Airwave’s in-house team in Q4 2026 include TYT, Philosophize This, and a growing slate of premium YouTube creators. Beginning in 2027, advertisers will gain direct access through Airwave to the company’s full podcast and video portfolio.
Airwave’s longtime sales partner, True Native Media, will continue to represent Airwave’s existing podcast roster through the end of 2026. At the same time, Airwave’s in-house team is working directly with advertisers on its new Q4 opportunities, as well as advance campaigns, renewals, and partnerships across the full network for 2027 and beyond.
“True Native has been an essential partner in Airwave’s growth,” said Ben Mathis, Chief Content Officer at Airwave. “Heather Osgood and her team have represented our creators with care, persistence, and integrity, and we are enormously grateful for everything they have helped us build. We are proud of our work together and look forward to finishing the year on a high note.”
Bringing sales in-house will allow Airwave to work more closely with creators and advertisers throughout the partnership process, from audience insight and initial planning to creative execution and campaign evaluation. It will also give buyers more direct access to the knowledge, flexibility, and collaborative thinking of the people who work with Airwave’s creators every day.
“The best media partnerships start with understanding the audience and what they came for,” said Charles Dannison, Senior Vice President of Sales and Brand Partnerships at Airwave. “Bringing sales in-house allows us to sit closer to our creators, respond more quickly to buyers, and build ideas around the specific relationship each show has with its audience. Our job is not simply to place advertising. It is to find the right connection among the brand, the creator, and the people who trust them.”
“Buyers do not need to wait until 2027 to begin working with us,” Dannison added. “The Young Turks, Philosophize This! and our growing video roster give us meaningful Q4 opportunities today. The full Airwave portfolio, representing more than 120 million monthly video views and podcast downloads, will open an even broader conversation for 2027.”
Airwave’s growing portfolio includes premium independent media brands and programs such as TYT, Think Fast Talk Smart, Motley Fool’s Hidden Gems Investing, NerdWallet’s Smart Money and Smart Travel, America’s Test Kitchen, TechCrunch, History Today, Fast Company Daily, The History Chicks, The New Republic’s Daily Blast, Data Over Dogma, and many, many more.
“Our ambition is not simply to become bigger,” Mathis said. “It is to build the most trusted and beloved independent media network in the industry, for advertisers, creators, and audiences alike.”
