Airwave Announces Creator-Led Tours in Partnership with Like Minds Travel
Airwave podcast network has announced Airwave Journeys, an exclusive partnership between Airwave and Laura Hart’s Like Minds Travel to provide Airwave’s podcasters with paid, creator-led travel tours.
Airwave Journeys is the latest initiative in the network’s expansion and diversification of its podcast monetization offerings to include not just traditional advertising sales, but also book publishing, paid subscriptions, live events, merchandising, and more.
Under the new agreement, Like Minds Travel will be the exclusive tour operator for Airwave. The two partners will work together to organize highly-curated tours and fan experiences around Airwave’s podcast hosts, their fans, and exciting destinations that align with their content.
Like Minds Travel is a leader in creator-led travel, organizing sold-out tours for podcasts like The History Chicks, ArtCurious, and The Bowery Boys to destinations like France, England, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Spain, New York City, DC, and more.
“Creator-led tours are a major new source of revenue for podcasters and a fun way for hosts to engage with fans through a shared love of travel.” said Ben Mathis, Airwave CEO. “No one is better at this than Laura Hart.”
Like Minds Travel’s founder Laura Hart commented: “I am very excited to be partnering with Airwave to further enrich their creators communities through shared experiences in travel. I can’t wait to get started!"”
