AdLarge Partners with Sounds Profitable to Debut Up Next - A Podcast UpFront

AdLarge announced today they have partnered with Sounds Profitable for the debut launch of Up Next - A Podcast UpFront. Embracing a “never-been-done-before” concept, Up Next utilizes the podcast format to promote podcasting with two acclaimed industry leaders hosting the series; FRQNCY Founder/CEO, Michelle Khouri, and Edison Research SVP, Tom Webster. The idea originated from a brainstorming session between the leadership team at AdLarge and Sounds Profitable, and is NOT an event but rather a podcast series specifically designed to showcase the multiple facets of the podcast industry including publishers, networks, content producers, and more. No special invitation required to listen to the podcasts, they are available to everyone.

In the first season of the Up Next series, AdLarge’s premiere episode focuses on the power of podcast advertising in addition to exploring the intriguing and valuable aspects of the podcasting world. The AdLarge season consists of six episodes, which also includes sample episodes from some of the most favored podcasts in the space today such as; Crime Junkie, Swindled, The Hey Girl Podcast, The Trip, and Kill Me Now with Judy Gold.

Senior VP, Head of Revenue Operations & Digital Sales, Ilwira Marciszek commented on the announcement, “It’s crazy that no one thought of this earlier. We know podcasts get results. This is the perfect way to get in front of people on their own time. I’m beyond thrilled to use the medium we’re selling to showcase the power of podcasting.”

“Honestly, I’m impressed that we were able to put this idea together so quickly. The luxury of Sounds Profitable is that my sponsors afford me the ability to come up with weird and crazy ideas and see them through, but this one would have fallen completely flat without AdLarge supporting it out the gate and the 23 amazing sponsors that joined in on the idea with less than four weeks notice. We keep talking about the power of advertising in podcasting, so what better way to sell available podcast ad inventory and services than through a podcast? I hope this is the most boring execution of this idea and that every company involved and those listening build something even more creative.” added Bryan Barletta, Creator of Up Next and Founder of Sounds Profitable.

Participating companies: AdLarge, NPR, Headgum, Market Enginuity/PRX, AdvertiseCast, SpokenLayer, True Native Media, Podcast, Advertising Specialist, Stitcher, ABF Creative Inc., Pacific Content, The Podglomerate, JAR Audio, Osiris Media, editaudio, Podsights, Ad Results Media, Oxford Road, Veritone One, Magellan AI,, FRQNCY Media, Edison Research and Podcast Movement.

Up Next is available to everyone starting May 10th at 7:00 am ET through Supercast here or follow this link:
