Getting Started with audio storytelling: A conversation with Radio Workshop

By PodCircle by DW Akademie

Have you been fascinated by narrative audio podcasting, but had no idea where to start? Or did it all just seem too daunting?

Join us as the team from Radio Workshop explains how it’s done.

Producers Naomi Grewan and Dhashen Moodley along with editor Kerry Donahue explain how they approached the making of their audio documentary Copper Town (available wherever you get your podcasts).

We’ll also introduce their six-part tutorial series on getting started with audio storytelling.

We’ll listen to excerpts from the doc and talk about how they made it and why they made the reporting and editing decisions they did.

You’ll leave with more confidence and practical know-how to undertake your own audio storytelling project.

Day: Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026 Time: 4:00 p.m. CEST Where: Here on Zoom
