- Jun 16: Did OP3 go down at the end of last week, during the Big Google Outage that appeared to knock almost everything off the internet? John Spurlock would like us to know that no, it didn’t.
- Jun 9: Podstats is a new tool that uses OP3 analytics data and extracts more from it, including trending information and more - and for all data within OP3, not just the last 90 days visible on the OP3 page. Here’s the Podnews Weekly Review’s stats page. The tool is in preview, and looking for your feedback.
- Apr 28: Podcast analytics service OP3 has a live feed showing what people are listening to right now. Using that data, a coder has created EarPort, plotting every listener on the map, and you can click each listener to hear the podcast they’re downloading right now. Very cool.
- Mar 10: What podcast apps are listeners using? This page on our sister publication Podcast Business Journal shows share of downloads by podcast app for all shows in OP3 for the past 30 days (at least 16 million downloads). It now has a fancy pie chart, and it’s updated daily.
