Podcast recommendation newsletters

If you’re looking for newsletters containing new podcasts to listen to, here are some of our favourites.

• Our own newpodcasts.net claims it has a weekly newsletter. It will, when enough people want it! But until then, get the podcast for new podcast trailers, delivered into your podcast app (and links to listen).

• Love NPR podcasts? Join the club - no, literally, the NPR Pod Club, a weekly podcast recommendation newsletter which shares highlights from across the NPR network. The curated picks are a mix of NPR’s well-known programs like This American Life and newer shows too.

• The End is for fiction podcasts that have reached the end - i.e., shows where you can hear the whole story, perfect for binge-listening.

• Hurt Your Brain — Erik Jones links to specific episodes of podcasts he’s listened to, and a few other fun links of interest. (example)

• EarBods Podcast Collective gives you five podcast episodes according to a theme; and does it every week. (example)

• Podcast Review has a newsletter and full reviews, from the LA Review of Books.

• PodcastBrunchClub - like book club, but for podcasts. This newsletter gives a set of episodes on a theme every month, and some music to go with it too. (example)

• Podcast The Newsletter calls itself “your weekly love letter to podcasts and the people who make them”. (example)

• Podcast Delivery gives you one new podcast recommendation every Monday.

• Podyssey·fm “rounds up some great podcasts episodes to help you get through the week with the weird, interesting, and newsworthy.” - at the bottom of their website. (example)
