Audacy announced it will expand its partnership with Crooked Media by carrying Lovett or Leave It across CHANNEL Q, an Audacy Original Station and the award-winning LGBTQ+ Talk Radio Network, effective immediately. The podcast will now be heard on CHANNEL Q stations in 32 markets and nationwide via the Audacy app, Mondays from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET, effective June 28.

Hosted by former president Barack Obama’s speechwriter Jon Lovett, Lovett or Leave It features guests that include comedians, actors, journalists, activists, politicians and other ‘Friends of the Pod’ who break down the week’s biggest news and current political landscape each week. Popular segments include the “Rant Wheel,” where each guest is tasked with delivering a prepared rant to a hot cultural topic and the “High Notes,” where listeners share personal anecdotes about finding optimism in these challenging times.

“We’re delighted to build on our existing partnership with Crooked Media and deliver Lovett or Leave It to our CHANNEL Q audience, over the air in 32 markets and digitally nationally via station’s stream on the Audacy platform, each weekday,” said Jeff Sottolano, Executive Vice President of Programming, Audacy. “The show’s quick and witty flair for discussing the most relevant topics surrounding today’s political and pop culture landscapes is what differentiates itself and we look forward to welcoming the show to the CHANNEL Q family.”

“Lovett or Leave It is a show where Jon Lovett talks about everything from the most pressing political and social issues, to what everyone is bingeing on TV, to the latest trends in scientific advancement – all with his incredibly intelligent and hilarious point of view,” said Sandy Girard, Senior Vice President of Programming, Crooked Media. “We’re so excited to expand our partnership with Audacy to bring Lovett or Leave It to even more listeners around the country and to kick it off with our special Pride episode ‘Out of The Closets and Into the Streets.’”

Crooked Media is the progressive media company behind Pod Save America, What A Day, Keep It, and other hit podcasts. Jon Lovett co-founded Crooked Media with Jon Favreau and Tommy Vietor in 2017 to create a place where people can have honest conversations and tell stories that inform, entertain, and inspire action. There, he co-hosts “Pod Save America” and hosts “Lovett or Leave It,” two of the most popular political podcasts in the country. Before Crooked, he served as a presidential speechwriter in the Obama White House, co-created a comedy on NBC called “1600 Penn” and wrote speeches for Hillary Clinton.

Crooked Media’s slate of premium podcasts are available for brand partnerships through Audacy’s Cadence13.

Beyond the new syndication of Lovett or Leave It, Audacy currently airs a special news minute across multiple Audacy radio and digital stations titled “What A Day Minute,” which pulls from Crooked’s daily news podcast, What A Day, co-hosted by Akilah Hughes and Gideon Resnick.

CHANNEL Q is available nationwide the Audacy app and on Audacy stations in 32 markets. Fans can also connect with the station on social media via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

The Audacy app is a rapidly growing, integrated digital platform where consumers discover and connect live with over 1,000 local and national radio stations from more than 100 markets, including Audacy’s portfolio of over 230 premium stations, along with top podcasts and a wide range of exclusive audio programming. About Crooked Media

Crooked believes that we need a better conversation about politics, culture, and the world around us -- one that doesn’t just focus on what’s broken, but what we can do to fix it. At a time when it’s increasingly easy to feel cynical or hopeless, former Obama staffers Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, and Tommy Vietor have created a place where people can have honest conversations and tell stories that inform, entertain, and inspire action. In 2017 they started Crooked with Pod Save America—a no-bullshit conversation about politics. Since then, we’ve continued to add new shows, voices, and opportunities for activism through our Vote Save America platform, because it’s up to each of us to do our part to engage in our democracy and build a better world.
