Acast announced as partners for the inaugural Cork Podcast Festival

Cork, co Cork, Ireland—Cork’s first Podcast Festival takes place in various venues across the city, from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th October 2019, and organisers have announced the world’s largest podcast company, Acast, as official partners for the event.

Since 2014, Acast has been the engine powering audio for creators all over the world. At its core, Acast connects podcasters with the financial support they need, as well as the tools to build audiences for their shows. Acast works with a number of popular podcasts in Ireland including Blindboy, The 2 Johnnies, Irish History Podcast, Niall Breslin’s Where is my Mind?, Des Bishop’s The Shift and Owning It: The Anxiety Podcast. Globally, its roster includes My Dad Wrote a Porno, Griefcast, The HighLow, The Football Ramble, Off Menu, David Tennant Does A Podcast With… and The Adam Buxton Podcast, as well as those of publishers such as The Times, The Economist, Guardian, VICE, and Vogue. As a global business, Acast has offices around the world from Stockholm to Sydney and a team of 160 talented audio lovers working diligently to create a sustainable audio and voice ecosystem to ensure that the industry continues to grow and flourish.
