About Us: The CDK & Horatio Podcast is a dynamic and engaging podcast that puts out two episodes a week, delving into a wide range of topics from pop culture and personal anecdotes to deep discussions and hilarious celebrity interviews. Our goal is to entertain, inform, and grow our audience across multiple platforms.
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Podcast Editor/YouTube Growth Expert/Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in editing audio and video content, growing YouTube and TikTok channels, and creating eye-catching short-form videos. This role is crucial in helping us expand our reach and engage with our audience more effectively. Experience with high-level celebrities and stand-up comedians is a plus.
Responsibilities:

Podcast Editing:
- Edit and produce two podcast episodes per week, ensuring high-quality audio and video.
- Add intros, outros, and any necessary sound effects or music.
- Edit for clarity, pacing, and engagement.

YouTube Growth:
- Manage and grow our YouTube channel by creating compelling thumbnails, titles, and descriptions.
- Optimize videos for SEO and audience engagement.
- Analyze YouTube analytics to drive growth and improve content strategy.

Social Media Management:
- Create and manage content for our social media platforms, focusing on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase followers and engagement.
- Create short-form video content that is eye-catching and shareable.

Content Creation:
- Develop creative and engaging content ideas for short-form videos, including clips from podcasts and original content.
- Use tools and software to create visually appealing videos that capture attention.
- Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in social media and video content.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Podcast Editor, YouTube Growth Expert, and/or Social Media Manager.
- Proficiency in audio and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Audacity).
- Strong understanding of YouTube and TikTok algorithms and growth strategies.
- Experience in creating and editing short-form video content.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with high-level celebrities and stand-up comedians.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in growing and managing YouTube and TikTok channels for other podcasts or content creators.
- Knowledge of SEO and social media marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with the latest trends and tools in social media and video editing.
