In Denmark there is a media support fund from government, and the Center for Podcasting is lobbying for podcasting to be included in it. “Would not it make sense to help podcasting reach all parts of Denmark and all generations, and possibly future-proof and renew the local radio order that is a cornerstone of Danish culture and our democracy?”

Radio producer Jesse Cox died before Christmas, aged 31. He was executive producer of the Australian ABC’s most successful podcast Trace, and his obituary is in the Brisbane Times.
