Podnews's report card results revealed

The results of the Podnews Report Card were announced at Podcast Movement Evolution by our Editor, James Cridland. Selections from the 750 comments captured are on the Podnews website. Apple and Spotify received roughly equal votes overall, but very different responses.

Also at the event, James was able to announce that the EarBuds Podcast Collective from Arielle Nissenblatt is to join the Podnews Network. First look: Popular podcast app Overcast is to release a redesign today. The biggest redesign in its almost eight-year history, expect a radically different homescreen, new typography, and a number of new features and enhancements. A blog post with all the changes will be on developer Marco Arment’s blog later today; get Overcast on the Apple App Store.
