We are both in recovery ourselves and have been in the addiction treatment industry for over 10 years specifically managing alumni affairs at various facilities. Based on years of data collection, we have come to the conclusion relapse rates tend to be much lower when the family is involved in their loved one’s treatment process and aftercare, coupled with their own personal healing and recovery.
