A health podcast from Lauren Sanders

Are you ready to take Yoga off of the mat?

Yogakane (yoga-can) is a podcast all about Yoga within the beautiful Pacific Northwest region. I’ll talk to people involved within the Yoga community from British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Oregon to Washington ask them questions and capture their Yoga stories.

In June of 2018 I became a certified Yoga instructor, through this process I discovered that we are blessed in our region with some credible and insightful Yogis and Yoginis. People who come from different lineages, people who have unique approaches to the practice but at their root is this integrity to honor the practice of Yoga and keep their students safe on their inward journey. I think that’s super cool and I can’t wait to capture their voice, their essence through these interviews and share with you.

Yoga means to Yoke or bind and through Yogakane we will yoke our Yoga community! If you have any questions about Yoga or know of any teachers who should be interviewed please let me know! This podcast is just as much yours as it is mine!

This podcast may use dynamic content insertion and uses a unique domain

Stats: Statistics are produced by Libsyn to help Yogakane to understand how many downloads it is getting, or how many people are listening. Your device’s IP address and user agent is used to help calculate this figure. Libsyn is IAB v2 certified.

Dynamic content insertion: Libsyn may use limited data that they know about you - the device you’re using, the approximate location you’re in, or other data that can be derived from this, like the current weather forecast for your area - to change parts of the audio. Yogakane may do this for advertising or for other forms of content, like news stories.

Yogakane is able to use the above tools since its podcast host or measurement company offers this service. It doesn’t mean that this individual podcast uses them, or has access to this functionality. We use open data.

This podcast uses a unique RSS domain. This podcast is the only one that we’re aware of which uses a domain of for its RSS feed. Domains are always visible to anyone who can see your internet traffic - your internet service provider, employer or even your government - even when you use HTTPS connections. If your podcast app uses the RSS feed directly, like Apple Podcasts, then you can be tracked as a listener to this podcast every time your phone checks for a new episode.
