Rikospaikkaradiossa Maikkarin rikostoimittajat Jarkko Sipilä ja Pekka Lehtinen puivat viime vuosikymmenten kuohuttavia rikostapauksia niihin liittyvien äänitteiden kautta. Mukana on muun muassa hätäpuheluita, oikeussalinauhoitteita ja reaaliaikaisia nauhoituksia tapahtumasta. Ohjelmasarjassa juttuja käsitellään myös rikostoimittajan työn kautta. Sarjaa ei suositella alle 16-vuotiaille. Jaksot julkaistaan maanantaisin.
