Women and Crime
A true crime podcast from: Meghan Sacks and Amy Shlosberg
Creators: Meghan Sacks (Host) (edit)
As criminologists, we study women who have been victims of crime, and those who have committed crimes, and those who work in the criminal justice system. In this podcast we tell a new story each episode, and we use a criminologist’s lens to look at how women are treated in the criminal justice system, the causes of female crime and victimization, as well as cover cases in which women have been wrongfully convicted and exonerated. Dr Meghan Sacks and Dr Amy Shlosberg are both Associate Professors of Criminology at Fairleigh Dickinson University. They teach classes such as: Women & Crime, Race & Crime, Criminology, and Serial Killers.
