Saadia uses her powerful interview skills to tell beautiful stories. I just heard someone on her show today say that immigrant stories are love stories. These are love stories.

A podcast that centers immigrant stories without putting immigrants into a box! I’m so impressed by the diverse range of topics that Immigrantly has covered in the past. Saadia has great chemistry with her guests to the point where it feels like I’m overhearing a conversation between friends. Many of my favorite episodes stay with me long after I power off my headphones!

It was such a pleasure to work with Saadia. She’s an incredibly thorough researcher, asks amazing questions, and is just a delight on air. One of the best experiences I’ve had with a podcast, both as a listener and guest!

I am Mexican, I am a daughter of immigrant parents. 1st to graduate with from the university in my family. I was born in the US but I am “not for here or there”. At least this is how I’ve felt my whole life. Immigrantly, has helped little by little fill a gap. This podcast has helped me by little more proud and confident in who I am. How has this podcast helped me? I was at a point a couple weeks ago where I was frustrated. I felt lost an didn’t know where to go to find like minded individuals. Why was I frustrated because of the injustice between white and brown people. Because even after going to the university and gaining work experience during school I still wasn’t getting paid what I should with my degree. I still am not being valued is what this told me. I am tired of fighting for a place on the table, it has felt like my whole life I have been fighting a battle to feel accepted and valued. I am not an expert on the topic of pay gap. The with the little research that I did on pay gap. Was enough to infuriate me. I started looking for ways to become informed, podcasts have always been for me the go to. I searched for podcasts that would be informative, supportive I also search for podcasts that talked about rights in America. It didn’t take long before I ran into the Immigrantly podcast and I am so happy I did. It has really, an truly become my go to podcast. Everything that is talked is about relatable to me and I also learn so much! Any chance I get I share podcast on my social media I do! because I believe everyone! Absolutely everyone it doesn’t matter your race, ethnicity, color, etc. Everyone should be listening to all of these valuable conversations. This podcast is one of my favorites because of its commitment to telling great stories and information from a multitude of immigrants. It demonstrates that there are so many types of immigrants and each have their unique experiences. It’s also just incredibly fun to listen to! Saadia and the team are amazing and give it a listen ❤️

I LOVE this podcast! I’m so glad I discovered it because now I’m hooked. I’ve learned so much about immigrants and the immigrant experience which is so nuanced and complex. Saadia is a lovely host and asks the real and difficult questions. HIGHLY recommend!
