A true crime podcast from Faceplant | QCODE
Website: https://www.qcodemedia.com

This is the true story of the life, violent death, and still-unfolding legacy of Dr. Eugene Mallove, a renowned scientist and fierce advocate for a controversial form of alternative energy called cold fusion. Part true crime, part mad science — we follow Mallove’s near-obsessive dedication to a conspiracy-riddled field of research and how the unspooling investigation of his death became part of that story.

Cold Truth is a limited-run, 8-episode season and the first in the Crime Waves anthology. Told by award-winning journalist and author David Kushner through interviews with family, colleagues, and investigators, this show takes us on a journey — from Mallove uncovering a real conspiracy to his own murder, which remained unsolved for years after his death.

Crime Waves is developed and produced by Faceplant and QCODE, in association with No Smiling.

Follow the show now for the strangest true crime stories you’ve never heard of, told by the people who were there — and the ones who picked up the pieces.

This podcast may use tracking and attribution and dynamic content insertion

Your device’s IP address and user agent is used to help calculate this figure. Megaphone and Podtrac are IAB v2 certified. Here is more detail about podcast statistics.

Tracking and attribution: Megaphone, Chartable, Claritas, Podscribe, Podsights and Nielsen or their partners may connect the fact you listened to this podcast to an action elsewhere on the internet. Dynamic content insertion: Megaphone may use limited data that they know about you - the device you’re using, the approximate location you’re in, or other data that can be derived from this, like the current weather forecast for your area - to change parts of the audio. Crime Waves: Cold Truth may do this for advertising or for other forms of content, like news stories.

Crime Waves: Cold Truth is able to use the above tools since its podcast host or measurement company offers this service. It doesn’t mean that this individual podcast uses them, or has access to this functionality. We use open data.
